June 26th 2020: "Know before you go"

Attention Fasro conference, LEAD, AG Basic SRO Course and AG CPTED course attendees. There have been many questions from agencies regarding safety measures as we prepare for this years training conference to be held at the Rosen Centre. The Fasro board of directors and the Rosen Centre Hotel staff takes these safety precautions very seriously. Please read the attached commitment letter from the Rosen Centre Hotel that contains many changes as it relates to the guest rooms, bag service and hotel room keys. Upon check in you will receive a letter from the hotel as it relates to the Orange County ordinance that is in effect as it relates to wearing masks. All Fasro attendees should adhere to the ordinance and wear masks on site when social distancing requirements can not be met. Masks however are not required to be worn during the training sessions as all seats are 6 feet apart in compliance with the CDC guidelines. When you check in for the conference or the AG courses, Fasro will be providing every attendee a washable mask to be worn while on site. If you have any questions about the safety policy and steps that Fasro and the hotel are taking please do not hesitate in contacting Fasro at [email protected] or 941-894-5167. Please stay safe and see everyone soon.
There is a video produced by the Rosen Centre Hotel regarding the safety measures that they have implemented for hotel guests. We have attached the new commitment letter from the Rosen Centre Hotel that contains many changes that the hotel will be using as it relates to the guest rooms, bag service and hotel room keys.
There also is attached a letter, see below, form the hotel as it relates to the Orange County ordinance that is in effect for the wearing of masks. All Fasro attendees should adhere to the ordinance and wear masks on site as per the ordinance. Masks however are not required to be worn during the training sessions as all seats are 6 feet apart in compliance with the CDC guidelines.

At this time FASRO is compiling a waiting list for both the training conference as well as the Attorney Generals Basic SRO class. The number of attendees for both the class as well as the conference is set by the hotel as per the guidelines. The Fasro Board is working in partnership with the Rosen Centre staff to make the conference as safe as possible for everyone. Thank you for your understanding.
